absurdreasoning asked: So, I'm curious. What led you to become non-theist? By non-theist do you mean atheist/agnostic, or more along the lines of a monist/pantheist/panentheist belief set? How does one live as a secular christian?
I use “nontheist” as synonymous with “atheist”; I have no beliefs about any purported gods. I relinquished my former faith because of honest epistemological reflection and meta-level analysis of my former theological beliefs. For me, “Secular Christian” means I live as a “secular” person, but to the extent that I still reflect on philosophy of religion and spirituality, my primary frame of reference is still Christianity. See more about this in an older post where I flesh out my meaning in using the label. I’m ambivalent about the term and go back and forth over whether to rename my tumblr.
